Kinmel Bay Development Crowned League Champions and Set for North Wales Showdown

Kinmel Bay Football Club are delighted to confirm that our Development Team have been crowned league champions following an outstanding season that has seen them set the standard across the division.

In what has been a remarkable campaign, the young Bay side played 22 matches, securing an incredible 20 victories while suffering just 2 defeats. Their dominance has been reflected not only in results but in performance levels, scoring a staggering 128 goals and conceding just 24 the best attacking and defensive record in the league.

This success is a testament to the hard work, commitment, and togetherness shown throughout the season by both players and staff.

The management team of Harry Woodfine, Phil Peabody, and Damon Hughes have played a pivotal role in this achievement, driving standards and instilling a winning mentality across the squad.

Men’s Team Manager Leon Field praised the group, stating:

“The management team have been a revolution this season, and I’m extremely proud of the whole group. Over the past five seasons, we’ve seen consistent growth within the development setup, and this title is thoroughly deserved. Well done to all the lads.”

With the league title secured, attention now turns to an exciting finale. Kinmel Bay Development will face Holyhead Hotspur Development in a one-off match to determine the best development side in North Wales.

The showcase fixture is set to take place on Sunday 17th May, where both sides will battle it out for regional supremacy in what promises to be a fitting conclusion to a fantastic season.
